Don Conwell
Don, an honors graduate of Oral Roberts University and of the University of Notre Dame Law School, has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the fields of intellectual property, business litigation and technology law and has been listed in Florida Super Lawyers and Florida’s Legal Elite. Don was named by Best Lawyers in America as Tampa Bay's "Lawyer of the Year" for Intellectual Property Litigation. Don’s business litigation experience is broad and varied, including intellectual property and technology, business fraud and other business torts, non-compete and non-solicitation litigation, international and domestic arbitrations, real estate and construction litigation, shareholder and corporate governance disputes, governmental regulatory litigation, securities litigation, debtor/ creditor disputes and general contract litigation.
Don also has been a leader in local and national bar associations. He has chaired the American Bar Association’s Computer and Internet Litigation Committee and was the founding editor of The Computer Litigation Journal. He served as committee chair of The Florida Bar’s Computer and Internet Law Committee and as a judicially appointed member of the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Jury Instructions - Contracts and Business Cases. Don previously served as chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Technology Committee and as co-chair of its Committee on Professionalism. Don also is the founding president of the Tampa Bay chapter of the International Network of Boutique Law Firms.
Don is married, with four children. He is active in his local church and participates in numerous sports, including basketball, mountain biking, snow skiing, hiking and camping.
